GENIO/scan EST Coverage of Eukaryotic Coding Sequences
EST Coverage of GenBank dbEST (September 28, 1998) vs. 20998 Eukaryotic CDS From GenBank Rel. 105.0

GENIO/scan EST coverage analysis let you analyse the EST coverage of eukaryotic coding sequences (CDS). We searched the coding sequences (CDS) of 20998 annotated eukaryotic genes from GenBank Rel. 105.0 against GenBank dbEST from November 2, 1998 with BLAST 2.06 (gapped). The results from the BLAST search (many gigabytes of data) have been filtered for E-values better then 1e-25 and scores higher then 50 bit. We analysed the resulting EST hits and calculated the EST/CDS coverage of the coding sequences of the eukaryotic genes. You can query the CDS coverage of annotated eukaryotic genes (out of 20998 eukaryotic genes from GenBank Rel 105.0) and download the coverage results, BLAST outputs and graphical coverage presentations. The graphical EST coverage presentation let you discover easily alternative spliced exons, suspicious annotations and more. Detailed EST/CDS coverage statistics are available on request.
